Collection of POA #
After our successful depositing the Power of Attorney (POA) at the High Court of Singapore, collect the original document from our office.
Reasons for Collection in Person #
We no longer send original documents via registered post due to manpower constraints, non-collection by client or attorney, and/or delivery issues with SingPost.
Documents to be Collected #
After receiving our email confirming the POA deposit at the High Court, please arrange to collect the following documents from our office by yourself (the donee), your attorney or your authorised representative (including courier service such as Grab, Lalamove, Ninja Van, etc):
- Our original letter to the donor and attorney
- Original POA with the High Court’s cover page
- Two certified true copies by our solicitor of the original POA and the High Court’s cover page. These are required by HDB, and you or your attorney will be required to forward them to HDB at the appropriate time.
- Our original letter to HDB confirming POA preparation based on HDB’s prescribed format, and with enclosed a copy of the POA with the High Court’s cover page. This letter is for your or your attorney’s onward transmission to HDB at the appropriate time.
Please note that if the original POA documents are not collected within one month following our notification, we shall not be responsible for any loss, destruction, or non-availability for any reason whatsoever.
Booking your Collection Appointment #
