Signing Power of Attorney in Singapore #
After submission of your online submission, you should book an appointment with our office to sign the Power of Attorney in the presence of our lawyer. You have to bring your Identity Card (NRIC) or Passport when attending at our office. To book an appoint with our office, please go to Book an Appointment.
Signing Power of Attorney Overseas #
Afer online submission, we will email you the soft format of the Power of Attorney, which will be prepared in accordance with your instructions. Upon receipt of the Power of Attorney, please review carefully all the particulars stated and the terms, and let us know if you discover any errors.
Once you are happy with the Power of Attorney, please print the document in A4 white paper (or closest size) using good quality printer. Upon printing, you will need to sign the Power of Attorney in the presence of a Singapore Consulate Officer or Notary Public. If you are utilising CPF funds for your property (including HDB flat), you will need to sign it before a Singapore Consulate Officer. After you have duly signed the Power of Attorney before or a Singapore Consulate Officer or Notary Public in the country of your stay, please return the original signed Power of Attorney to our Singapore Office by courier or registered post to enable us to deposit a copy of the same at the High Court.
